Two seniors selected for Watson Fellowships
Neither Jess Engebretson ’09 nor Helen Chmura ’09 is sure what career she wants to pursue after college. Yet, as of last week, both are confident they will spend all of next year following their passions.
Engebretson and Chmura are Swarthmore’s recipients of this year’s Watson Fellowship, which grants graduating seniors the opportunity to pursue a year of independent research internationally.
